Someone may find this interesting - a $4000 computer program used in animations reduced to... nothing.
You have to have a pretty incredible computer to run it (the download itself is something like 504MB), but I thought this was worth mentioning.

That is epic Genzarata, I only wish my laptop could handle it. It would probably end up takimg hours to download, and when it was done I couldn't even do anything with it.
JellyCam I played around with it and I love the interface. There aren't a lot of fancy features yet but it seems very slick and worked perfectly for me when i tested it briefly. On the current stable version there is a watermark placed on the video but there is a beta version out that allows for this to be removed! http://www.jellycam.co.uk/v3_0/workinprogress.html I'll be interested to see what others think of this. I hope it will continue to be developed and improved.
I'm thinking about getting Light Works
I looked at the website and think it looks good
but I am curious of its features, video transitions and effects, etc.
so basically tell me what you think its best features are
though as long as its better than WMM I'm probably happy 
Well, It's definitely better than WMM, seeing as they used it to edit The Kings Speech.
It is not, however, easy to use.
Do anyone know free lip/sync program, that can be do same as Adobe After Effects like in this picture by Oblond Studios:

Yes indeed. They've updated their site for the first time in almost 4 years.
I noticed that too. This is great news! According to Mr. Perry it's still being developed, meaning cheapskates like me using free software will get an even better quality animation tools.
