I'm sorry to hear that Schlaeps won't be our admin anymore, and we should all give him our gratitude. I would also like to give Smeagol a round of applause and welcome him as our new overlord...I mean admin. 
Let us hope that the directory is open soon.
EDIT: @ Munzapoppa, I'll bet you Schlaeps will continue to ghost-write the site.

Rest assured Munz, that the days when BiM was completely run and managed and developed by a single person are over. Yes, many mistakes have been made in the past, but we are working very hard on remedying it. It won't be easy, and it won't be fixed over night, but we are working on taking this site where it was meant to be. The time of no updates is at an end.
Nathan, are you the one replacing Smeagol as a mod?
Looks like it from his custom user title. I believe all the mods have those... Unless of course Smeagol agreed to let him have a title.
By the way, Munz, I agree (as you probably know from my thread).
Philip is the Site Admin, I was added as an additional moderator, to help Rachel and Nikolas. I am also going to be working on developing the Resources section.
I don't exactly know what to say without myself sounding like a suck-up....

ryancd774: I believe Schlaeps had planned to "cancel" TEC but I will do my best to finish it. Judging / awarding of prizes will have to be postponed until I've gained a better understanding of the site structure and development of the resources and directory is underway. I will resolve TEC when I have a chance, though.
Sorry, Schlaeps, I don't even know who you are because I'm new to this whole thing. 
But by what I'm reading, it sounds like you were great and everybody will miss your work. And that's good.

It this starting to sound a bit like a memorial service? Or is it....? 
I'm going to agree with Munzapoppa. I don't want to seem like a downer or a hater, but I'm kind of frustrated that Schlaeps is just going to give up like this. I know he has a life, but I wonder why he bothered to start all of this when he knew he would be going to college, which is obviously more important. ILB was one of the causes of the divide, and now he's leaving us.
I don't know what to say, honestly.

Schlaeps, you did a great job leading us out of oppression. May you go on to rule a great and vast empire of rabid, tricycle riding monkey-llamas!
