Re: Test made with LEGO Digital Designer

Wow, how did you do that? It's amazing. I can't do that myself, 'cause it's so beautiful. It's very good, but how did you really do that? If all members without me know that I'm just noob, but hey, it's great. mini/smile

It's stop-motion done on a computer.  A hybrid of stop-motion animation and computer models.  *shiver*

Re: Test made with LEGO Digital Designer

Interesting. This is the program that you download to make Lego models to buy etc right?

If so that's quite impressive! Did you just take screenshots of the program?

Re: Test made with LEGO Digital Designer

Yep it's the one you make Lego models to buy

The program actually has a function that you can take screenshots of your model you just press control K if you've got a PC and Command k on a Mac the only thing is the images will be saved as PNG's so i have to convert them to JPEG's in Paint then compile them in Helium Frog

Heres something you might find useful if you've got LDD. It extends the Brick range

Re: Test made with LEGO Digital Designer

I thought of doing the same thing a while ago, but the fixed increments for moving joints was going to be a problem.  How did you get such small increments?

Even if I wanted to try it myself, I wouldn't.  Building stuff in LDD seems to take longer than building sets in real life.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

Re: Test made with LEGO Digital Designer

Ohhhh! Very interesting and well done, it looks quite good mini/smile
I've been trying to use LDD in my new film to make some larger sets, your idea should help me out greatly.

The red arrow is pointing at the spot where you can move the joints in very small increments

Re: Test made with LEGO Digital Designer

I tried doing something like this a long time ago but gave up...

Re: Test made with LEGO Digital Designer

That is pretty cool. I might have to try that!
