Topic: Stairs Walk cicle test

I been trying to figure out how to make a minifigure walk up and down some stairs. After a few tries here's the result.

Tell me what you think about it, also I made this yestarday late at night so the quality isn't the best.

I like stuff...

Re: Stairs Walk cicle test

It seems like you're trying to use a regular walk cycle but on stairs. This would be great if it were one plate and in a forest or something, but walking up stairs shouldn't look exactly like normal walking. It should be obvious that they're walking up or down stairs; what you have now looks simply like the minifig is walking, and the ground just so happens to be raised. Good attempt though, certainly one of the harder things to do with LEGOs.

kcirb-- its brick backwards.

Re: Stairs Walk cicle test

I think it's a bit choppy and the back isn't kept straight all the time.

I've seen someone boost the minifig up so when it puts it's leg back, it isn't leaning forward. It was in a film called Design Flaw, but I forgot the username of the guy who made it.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

Pretty cool, but I think you should use blue stack for that, 'cause he swing around... ;D
