we said that Brickyman still has a few more days to post a new theme before you get the honors.
But,the rules in the first post say that if the winner doesn't respond in 24 hours,2nd place takes over.

The new theme is:
Great ruler.
Create a leader. A stone cold general of a fearsome army perhaps, or maybe an outlandish king.

the thread is not dying. Its just that people are working on their entries to FoS. I'm pretty sure that this thread will start going again after that.

I don't know if there is all ready one but a "make a scene Challenge" sounds like a lot of fun 
and yes I saw the monkey to not sure what he was doing though...
