Hmm, it actually seemed like a one-off, unless they've decided to generally make an annual contest, which I'd strongly like to see. Great entry by the way, Alex.

We can now see the number of votes on other videos. I am worried, seeing hundreds of videos with loads of votes.
EDIT 2: It would appear that a mister Gagnon30 has made 7 entries, all of their votes counting in the hundreds. This can't be good... he has some of the 'top rated' , which will make it into the judging round. Surely Mega Bloks wouldn't allow one person to dominate the Top Ten?
Don't worry, we've talked about this already. It will be fine. That said, Gagnon certainly earned his votes.

Thanks for the information - though my chances are slim, and at least 3 of Gagnon's videos are worthy of a top prize, I was a little concerned for myself. 
And have we talked about it before? My memory is second to a few million.
So, is clicking the share button thousands of times not allowed?

I wish the judges judged out of all the videos... and not just the top ten voted... 
The top ten are mostly YouTube partners that tell there thousands of subscribers to vote for them. 
Most people don't have that many fans standing by! 
My video has a slim chance of winning.

It's hard to say. The rules say nothing against it, it's more the fact that you're near the top of the 'Most Shared' list when the video doesn't deserve it, as the Shares are illegitimate.
I wish the judges judged out of all the videos... and not just the top ten voted...
you shouldn't have entered just to win. though winning is nice the real goal is to have fun. 
I wish I could have entered this contest. my brother has a Halo minifigure and that little guy looks pretty fun to animate with.
however I have never played Halo so I would be clueless as to what to do

Unfortunately it is just not possible for us to judge all 1400 videos. It was difficult enough just to moderate them for content. Plus, the entire point of this contest is to involve the fans in the process. You should work harder to promote your videos!

I thought this would be incredibly biased, but I'm pleased to see you've included both popular and less-popular videos in there. Some of those films really didn't need any promotion, though.
I didn't pick these videos due to their popularity, or in order to promote those videos directly. This is a video to promote the contest as a whole. I was the sole moderator for the majority of the contest and I kept a list of my favourite videos -- those are the ones that made it into this video.
That's all.

I've been having trouble to vote for videos. And I think everyone in the contest have that problem too. Is there any chance to be fixed soon?
I've been having the same problem also. By the way, what was the problem with fraudulent voting? Some videos having 700+ votes, then dropping to about 20 (one example)?
These guys were cheating with votes. Now they have the real numbers.

He's probably being a sore loser even though the results aren't out yet.
I would of liked to enter, but I don't want to buy lots of Halo Mega Bloks just for this.

NXT only bought one set - I think it was $20 or something (it's around £13-15 in Britain). Certainly worth the money if you win, and there's a free set for entering if you're not in the top three - everyone's a winner. You could even have made a CGI film, as the rules don't say you have to use purely Mega Bloks, I don't think.
Still can't vote. Hope it'll be fixed before the end of the contest. But it's weird. It seems like some people can vote. But most can't.
