Re: Royalty Free Music and Sound
A site full of user-created sound effects. Pretty good, although it'll take a bit to find a decent sound effect.

I've found some great sound effect pages, and here are some of them...
All sorts of different sounds http://www.partnersinrhyme.com/pir/PIRsfx.shtml
many Star Wars sayings http://massassi.yavin4.com/sw/mmsound.h … nSkywalker
WAV Planet http://www.wavplanet.com/
cartoon sound effects http://www.a1freesoundeffects.com/cartoon.html
I'm sure there are many more good ones, share them if you have links, but I just use these ones a lot.
EPIC BUUUUUUUUMP
I found this website that has some pretty good royalty free music on it.

Ha, that's what I get from following Kevin Macleod on Google+ ![]()
I found Premium Beat, it's royalty free on this section. It should hopefully make a pleasant change to Incompetech. http://www.premiumbeat.com/royalty_free_music/songs
What about http://www.findsounds.com/ or httpp://www.soundbible.com/
Find sounds is a search engine. It's on the "Alert" menu.
Didn't you see that?

I used a Photoshop brush from someplace-I-can't-remember and just layered it.
I have just added a composers section to this thread
if you are an active member looking to compose for people, let me know and I'll add you to the list, read the topic though.
Bumpity.
This site has great 14th - 17th century music for free: http://www.jsayles.com/familypages/EarlyMusic.htm
Freesound.org was my favourite website for awhile (a free account is required though)
Can you put me on the list? I made a thread here: http://www.bricksinmotion.com/forums/to oundtrack/
I added you to the list Tom. I will probably fix the graphics up and make this look less like a failed iPad app. Other composers and sites are appreciated, and let the composers come to me, I know people like Night Owl composed, but I only want active members on this list.
There is a new sound website called sweetsoundeffects.com
I updated the graphics to look less distracting, and will try to add freesounds to the list. Descriptions for music soon.
Here's another site which has music for free and for a fee.
