No. YouTube has been giving many users a monetization option. It's not the same as a full-blown partnership. To get a partnership, you have to apply for it.
Just edit the description. If you use copyrighted music and you got a monetization offer, YouTube probably doesn't care (or notice).

Basically Youtube puts ads next to your videos and you get some money from people clicking. I've been asked if I want to do this by Youtube as well. Don't know if I will.

He copyrighted my video ideas (NightWatcher) and my channel name....
I have tweeted about it and I need all the help from you guys to message him and tell him he has to change his 'company name' in the description, which was DWStudios.
And his videos containing NightWatcher!
He supposedly didn't copy me at all, but basically he did, but he's changing the idea around SLIGHTLY.
Nightwatcher was supposed to be a film about a superhero I MADE UP. He stuck in a few extra characters and called it his own.
As for the name....Well its pretty obvious, he took out the storm and put 'studios' instead -_-
So please, tweet it, spread the word, and don't forget to message him about it!
Youtube clearly won't do anything.

TheDWStorm reported me b/c he and his friends think i copied Lego Nightwatcher from him when he has one video in existance that has anything to do with Lego Nightwatcher so don't know how much longer I'm 1Dwoodson but I will return if I'm delted and will countine my videos
We could easily end this stupid fight and go back to how it was

As annoying as he is, he doesn't look like he's doing much harm. If I were you, I'd leave him be and go on to make your own series.
He says that. But thats because he copied me. He wants me to forget that he copied my video. I just...I find it so annoying that this guy copied my idea...Which I HAD been working on for 3 months...Then he comes along and thats it. All that is over...Soon some guy will come along and say to me 'Hey, you copied 1Dwoodson'
Not unless you spread the word and give a heads up to your subscribers my making a disclaimer video about how he stole your ideas.
My god, this 1Dwoodson sounds like a moron.
Do everything in your power to get him kicked off YouTube.
Or, try asking nicely for him to stop copying you.
If all else fails, swear at him.

Hey, since this is the YouTube category, has anyone every gotten a really mean YouTube PM telling you to stop brickfilming, heres one from a jakers830, I bleeped the any cuss words:
grow the *BLEEP* up and stop making videos about legos, only little kids play with legos.....get a life
And he kept them coming until I blocked him.

Some people have nothing better to do than to sit around on YouTube all day and bash other people for no reason. The best thing to do is just block them.
Erm...ZP topitmonkeydog...Yeah he is a jerk..But please give a comment. We need manpower first. Then....videos

I can see why your ticked at this 1Dwoodson guy. I would be too. He doesn't deserve the subscribers he has, they should belong to you. I hate when somebody steels someone else's idea/film, changes it up a little, and calls it there's. YouTube seemingly wouldn't do a thing about. You should probably send him a YouTube PM if you haven't already.

I LOVE THOSE PEOPLE! THEY MAKE ME LAUGH SO HARD! GIANT SQUID OF ANGER FTW!
But, really, ignore that sort of thing. I keep getting messages about these websites that supposedly give you more views (probably a virus) and one time I got a message from somebody asking if I thought she was worthy to be justin beaver's wife. WHAT THE HECK IS just ignore them, my advice.
