Yeah, I got one of the Bieber messages too.
The subject of mine was "Yea im a idiot".
The below went into great detail about the sender thought she was worthy to be Justin Bieber's "GF" (I'm told it means Girlfriend) and how she needed all of our encouragement to ask him out, yadda yadda.
Anyhow, I just block those people whenever they send me stuff.

You said something about Beaver earlier.
Were you referring to someone other than Bieber?
I get a ton of spam I just report then block the user for it. I have also gotten spam from people who have added me as there friend so I am in there youtube contacts. I give them one warning then if they continue I block them.
Basically, I looked at my emails today and I have one from YouTube telling me I'm "eligible for monetization". So I follow all the steps and get to the end, and get the green light, but I don't seem to be recognized as a partner. Is that because they're two different things? Or do I need to do something else to activate that?
I'd really appreciate it if anyone could help me out here.

You are not a partner you have signed up for a beta monetization program. You will get adds on your videos but you wont have any special features.
Some people have nothing better to do than to sit around on YouTube all day and bash other people for no reason. The best thing to do is just block them.

This chick sent me a nasty comment.
I blocked her, but noticed in her history this month that she has been doing it to other filmers.
You might want to pre-block her just incase.

Yeah, I got one of those too.
The partner message looks different.
It just means you can make money on some videos, doesnt mean youre a partner.
It's kind of annoying - I really wanna' be a partner. And every time I try to apply, I get the "highly trained monkeys" page. Uber frustrating.
Hah, weird. I might be able to earn money off my videos, I don't even get that many views.

Also notice that it is sent to multiple other people at the same time, which most of the time only spammers do.
