Instead of the Earth being a sphere it would be one long strip

Yeah, great! Much better (for me)! Can't wait.
Normally I would check out these kinds of things, but I hate to say it, but I wasn't too impressed by the entries. There were some awesome ones, but not enough for me to spend time at the computer on my birthday (yeah).
Now we have to wait an extra 6 hours.
