Topic: Proud to be American

I am. Are you?

(And just by the by, this doesn't mean I'm back into brickfilming. I just made the raw footage on a whim, and did a bunch of vfx for the shot, and this is how it turned out.)

Edit: Well, I guess I will have to spell it out. Everyone knows about the war in the middle east, no? The video shows that our American history is that we often go to war without too terribly much as far as cause goes, and that we like to get ourselves involved in different countries' affairs. I hope I've explained well enough now mini/wink  and the dude firing the rocket is suppose to be American, I completely forgot to tie that into the video. mini/sweat

Re: Proud to be American

That was pretty cool. mini/smile
I like the miniature city, it seemed very detailed and not out of place.

Though I still don't get what this has to do with being proud to be an American...

Re: Proud to be American

It's about the war in the middle east, if you didn't pick that up. I'm not completely sure why, but it is. mini/tongue

Re: Proud to be American

I didn't understand how that related to being American, but all of the technical aspects were really good.

Re: Proud to be American

You should really come back to brickfilming. This was great, and I'm sure if you made an entire film it would be bomb-tastic.

Very Nice!
How do you do the camera movement?
Do you just move the camera slightly for each frame, or is there a program?
Keep up the awesome work dude.

Re: Proud to be American

At first it looked like he blew up Moscow!.

You did this perfectly! Just what Americans are like. Blow it up, ask questions afterwards.

Re: Proud to be American

The message was heavy-handed to the point of silliness, but the concept was executed well. I'd love to see you take the effects and animation to something a bit more substantial.

Coolio

I just used the basic wiggler effect in After Effects. If you don't have After Effects though, you can move the picture around frame by frame in whatever other editing program you have, or just actually more the camera (which is what I've done up until previously).

Anyway, I'm glad people like it! On the downside, now I'm tempted to actually make a full brickfilm D:
