Thank you. I used 15fps.

Re: Walk Cycle test.

probably the best walking cycle I've seen haha good job.

Re: Walk Cycle test.

I think the arms swung a little too far out (because when people walk in real life they really don't swing their arms very much) but other than that, perfect.

But did you really need this critiqued? There's no need to post it online if you can review it yourself.

Thanks. I though I was seeing light flicker, but maybe it was just because I was up so late. I didn't realise the arms were moving too much.

Re: Walk Cycle test.

One word: That was amazing! The lighting was fairly good at controlling light flicker, but the animation has been the only true walk cycle I've seen today.

Thank you. I am still trying to get my lighting right mini/confused

Re: Walk Cycle test.

Quite nicely done. Aside from the light flicker, it was awesome! Very smooth animation.

Well, if someone doesn't know how to improve or what needs to be improved, it can be very helpful. mini/smile

Anyway, liked the cycle, but it seems you have a bit of light flicker. What's your lighting set up? are you using natural or unnatural light?

Hazzat, you honestly post that on everything in the WIPs & Test section. What is the point of it if you don't post anything to it?

Two lamps, not the same lamp or bulb though. The one that produces the yellow light seems to change brightness in shots. I ahve paper over both.

Also, my camera has Auto WB or preset modes. I think the preset modes don't change but I'm not sure.(I am not using auto, but when I did, I noticed a lot more light flicker.)

I animate in a room that has lots of windows without curtains/blinds, so i only animate during the night. There is a street lamp near the room I animate in, but not much light enters the room.

Thank you.
EDIT: I will take a picture, and also upload some footage I done today under "Run cycle Test."

Re: Walk Cycle test.

Bump. Is there anything wrong with my lighting?

Re: Walk Cycle test.

It doesn't sound like it. Seems good for not flickering.

Don't see why it would do that... mini/tongue

I think its the bulb itself. The most flicker I see is on the left of the set.

Re: Walk Cycle test.

^^^^Agree, disagree?

Re: Walk Cycle test.
