Re: The Super Official BiM Upcoming Movie Updates and Discussion Thread
At first I thought that Andrew Garfield would make for a horrible Spidey, but after having seen the trailer, I like him a bit more. The reboot doesn't look so bad after all.

Apparently it's Machete Kills Again that'll be set in outer space. But still, ![]()

That was kind of my initial thinking also. But that's mainly because when they anounced it I didn't even know who the guy was other than he stared in 'The Social Network', which I hadn't seen yet.
But you have to admit... He certainly does look like Spidey more than Maquire did, that's for sure.
By the way, what the heck is 'Mechete Kills'?
P.S. TO THE NUIMOBILE!!

Spy Kids 4 looks awful. The only good bit in the trailer was when Carmen and Juni popped up.

Aren't all Spy Kids movies awful?
They're too cheesy. I rather see a movie about adult spys and actual spy-work.

The first one is awesome if you're the right age for it. I still enjoy it today, mainly because of nostalgic reasons (and Rodriguez is a boss director). I didn't really care for 2 and 3, though.
Spy Kids 1 & 2 are my guilty pleasure.
The Spy Kids movies started out well and sort of petered out quality-wise as they went. I almost want to see the new one, just to see if they've recaptured the fun of the first. Also, because I have a man-crush on Joel McHale. <3
Apparently Spike Lee is remaking "Oldboy". http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2011/jul boy-remake

Wow, that's really delightful.
Adam Sandler's new movie looks hilarious! Can't wait. And I thought he couldn't possibly top Grown Ups...[/sarcasm]]
Also, Killer Elite looks like fun. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8F1wrDsUqYc
Yes. Nothing is funnier than watching Adam Sandler trying to be funny in drag. ![]()

That's comic genius, Jargon.
I've got to say, this looks pretty sweet. It's a very interesting concept. I hope it turns out well.
