Sounds like a series I plan to start soon. I may well enter.
Although, I'm not so sure on the 5 minute restriction time. I was thinking about doing the truck chase from Raiders of the lost ark, but I think that's a little over 5 minutes. Suppose I can always shorten it.
And by the way, does anyone know how you can get permission to use the recording of a film. The audio that is. So you can have the animated lego with the real sound across the top? Because who do I get permission from, the studios?

That would be okay, though generally I would try to aim for something a bit older. Something from, like, 2010 would not be acceptable.
I think you should re-think the rules, because you seem to be adding some more as you go along. ![]()
It's kind of confusing, and it makes me afeard of making stuffs. :s

Well, the main guidelines are on the front page. I'm just answering questions that anyone has. If needed, we could edit the first page if it's overly confusing.
EDIT: We edited the first post. The films can be from any year. We are still discussing the time extension. No one should be afraid of making something. As long as you follow the rules, you should be fine.

Don't think I will...it's not at all like that film.

I would like to see some Indiana Jones or Star Wars scenes. ![]()
I thought this was going to be a re-make one of your old videos contest.
Actually, that IS well whiten the boundaries of this contest. Your old film is still a film, so it DOES still qualify. Unless JP decides to change that. (And they shouldn't) I really want to make a re-done Bohrok battle.
Yo, Juggernaut,
I had started a movie based on a book and I was wondering whether I could enter it.
Built the LEGO minifig versions of Dr. Floyd and David Bowman from 2010: The Year We Make Contact (pictures of them soonish).
Progress is being made! ![]()
I am in. Now, what film should I re-create a scene of...

So hows everybody's entry's going?
Sorry, JP, but I've decided not to enter anymore. ![]()
No, it's nothing about the contest, it's just that BRAWL is coming up and I completely forgot about this contest so that's my reason.
And I didn't want to rush anything (after BRAWL ends, I would have less then a month and school for me starts back up on Aug. 31st).
Sorry,

I'm not entering anymore, sadly. I was going to do E.A. Poe, "A tell Tale Heart", but I got involved in another project after I finish my current one.
