I think if you want to "delete" an account, the admin could just perma-ban you. It has the same effect.
Yup, it is something we generally avoid doing as it can be perceived as rewriting history, allowing people to avoid the consequences of all the stupid posts they made, and it makes threads the deleted user started disappear.

Not really, permanent bans don't do anything to your post data.
Well...
If you go to the User List I was stunned at how many banned people there are, most of which were spam bots who just posted an irrelevant advertisement and then did nothing. These accounts should probably be deleted.
They probably should be deleted, but who wants to sift through the list and individually ban them all?
I can't remember: Do we have the thing where you sign up you have to type the distorted words into a box to prevent robots from getting in?
That might be a good idea.

I think a test could be good. But it needs to be more original. People are now programming bots to read those distorted things. So you need a better test.
Mmm...
How about a picture of something, and you need to type the name of it into a box. ![]()
Like a monkey. xD

But then you're alienating all the blind brickfilmers.
Well, they couldn't read the stuff on this site anyway. ![]()
No offense to any blind people.
