I'm going to be watching Disturbia tonight. Looking forward to it. ![]()

All right, I'll admit it, I liked it. Sure, it wasn't anything amazing, and there were still some problems I had with various major plot points, but it was fun otherwise. DreamWorks does decent stuff when they aren't tossing potty/adult jokes left and right (still looking at you, Shrek).
A Serious Man
Really love this film, and the theme is amazing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fg3k_nPFLw4
I love all of Carter Burwell's scores. His work in the Coen Brothers' films are amazing.
Super 8
Super good.
Sherlock Jr.
Brilliant.
The Fog (1979)
Eh, nothing I haven't seen before, fairly similar to a lot of his other films. Got a little boring to be honest, although some of the visuals were pretty cool. John Carpenter "borrowed" heavily from the Exorcist score, which was fairly noticeable. And why did Jamie Lee Curtis and John Houseman have sex so soon? They'd known eachother for an hour or two, tops, it was really sudden.
Overall it was an OK film, could have been better.

Fright Night (1985)
for any classic horror movie fan it's a must see, it's a tribute to the classic Vampire movies while standing on it's own as a fresh movie. The finale scene is just insane and one of the most awesome scenes I have seen featuring gory monsters sinds "Evil Dead 2"

I must see this movie.
The Hangover: Part II
LOL....
WUT?
Super 8
Like a lost early Spielberg film. Inspiring, dazzling, and truly wonderful. One of my new favourite movies now. God, it's hard to describe this nostalgia feeling of an long gone time of TRUE movie magic. Honestly fantastic. Better then Tron Legacy. Well, in MY point of view, for some of you who didn't really like Tron Legacy, a better example would be, as good as Inception. My only nitpick is that the ending was a tad anti-climactic.
SUPER 8
I agree with Lamplight, good film. I enjoyed, a couple plot holes I found that kinda bugged me, but good.
how and why did the alien get to earth? lol
I also just watched...
THE CROW
which I highly enjoyed. I loved the look of the city. I could see that it influenced future graphic novel based films that came out later on by the look of it. Very enjoyable.
SUPER 8
Spoiler (click to read)
how and why did the alien get to earth? lol
Thought it was because the alien's ship crashed, and the government retrieved its pieces along with the alien itself.
That's original... ha. well, good movie nonetheless.
Trust
Very creepy movie, disturbingly realistic on how a sexual predator lures a young girl into sex, there isn't anything graphic in this film but you get a image of how it happens and how it affects the people around the young girl. David Schwimmer isn't an interesting director but shows us what we need. sollid film and every young teenage girl should see it.

The fact it deals with such dark themes yet is directed by Ross from 'Friends' makes me lol.

I noticed he was really glad when the show was over, this film is probably an attempt to lose the "Ross" of of him.
