Re: Three More Tests

The masked animation looked a bit "glitchy" if you know what I mean... The actual masking was great! mini/bigsmile Also the walk cycle was to fast that's why it looked like a run cycle.

Re: Three More Tests

Hmm...all of those were a little choppy. What's your framerate? And you need to ease in and out on every single movement. It looks like you need to turn on your manual focus, too.

Re: Three More Tests

Off topic, but minifig, do you mind letting us see some of your animations, you seem pretty knowledgeable in animation techniques.

Re: Three More Tests

I haven't released anything yet, but I used them in the film I'm working on now. coolasice11 has an thread in the Production section that I helped write, which includes some techniques that others have forgot. Lego9663 Studios, you should check out that thread too.

Re: Three More Tests

Yes I'm aware of the techniques since you originally wrote them in our lifelike animation thread (thanks by the way.) I just want to see some of your animation.

Back on topic, Lego Studios, I don't think that you should have an 'ease in and out' test being that you should use easing in and out in everything. Even in walking and masking.

Re: Three More Tests

(Off topic one more time, sorry in advance)

I plan to finish and release the film I'm working on this month. The animation in the beginning isn't that good, but when it gets to the point where I started to ease in and out, it's much better.

Re: Three More Tests

Cool, looking forward to it! mini/smile

Re: Three More Tests

Maybe the masking one needs more frames.
