Joker Test

Facetube

Hello after looking for Mr. J on Bricklink I had a large and almost faital heart attack, so this is my custom CG joker. I'm a fan of mouth movements so I wanted his mouth to look realistic now I know I haven't animated him moving as he speaks, thats because it was done inthe afternoon, and if i did it'd be full of light flicker, but why don't you stop reading this and watch the test?

Re: Trailer - Joker Test

Looks good! But this should be in the WIP and Tests.

Re: Trailer - Joker Test

I tried putting it there but it'd didn't give me that op.
buy the way was the voice acting to hard to hear? and this ain't the same voice I'll be using, it'd be a bit more like heaths for the final product.

Re: Trailer - Joker Test

Looks ok, but not good. You can tell it's fake. I think the mouths too complicated and is therefore hard to get right in a realistic way. But then, I'm not an expert at mouth movements. Have you read the tutorial 0ldScratch used for "Brick It!" (which is a great brickfilm, by the way)? I think this is a very good one.

This is just honest criticism and I don't want to sound rude.

Re: Trailer - Joker Test

O suggest you leave the mouth animations out of your film. It is kinda nice. (Probably better than what I'd make. xD) But I don't think you should do it unless you get it to the point where it looks just awesome.

Re: Trailer - Joker Test

ok, thanks guys, it is after all a test, and with a better Ledger voice it'd be awesome. I think I make the lips move to much and the top jaw...

Where is it?
and by the way just found out how to make my vids widescreen on youtube, so now the Aspect ratio is right.

seen the movie, have a fair Idea how he did it, I do it a bit like he does(I think, still haven't found the tutorial), yea, his head has most of the mouth removed so I can do what I want with it.

Re: Trailer - Joker Test

I said in the opening post that this was ONLY a test for his Mouth, the picture was taken at day so if i did animate it would have been full of light flicker......
