Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Thx. In the frame it just didn't look right. Now that I look harder I see it is a phone. mini/tongue

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

It looks strange because the arm is dislocated. He took it off and poster puttied it to the torso. He did that so the phone lines up with the minifig's ear and mouth.

What's going on with your aspect ratios, filmyguy? Your ninja test was stretched too.

This was a direct screenshot from my editing program, I didn't export it in high quality or anything. It won't look like that on the youtubes. The ninja thing was just exported at a weird low quality setting, which I don't think I'll export at anymore. mini/tongue
I'll have better exports on my facebook from now on.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Filmyguy, I was messing with my camera a few days ago and got a picture similar to yours. perhaps you should try to turn down the contrast and see what happens.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Nah. The settings he uses (contrast, white balance etc) is his style. It really has made him distinctive.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

It's a little ruff because I need to do some more rendering. And there is a little tiny hair on the cape too.....I hate working with capes because they pick up WAY too much dust and stuff.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

The chroma-keying is very well done as well as the framing.  However, you may want to color-correct the man just a little bit to make it look as though he is really in the shot.  Also, is the backround a video or an image?

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

I also think he should defocus the background a bit.

Yes I was thinking of cropping it out just a little bit more.

This is the color corrected picture. Tell me what you think (This one is darker than the other one).

I see no noticeable difference.

The minifig's color is brighter, but you still need spill suppresion. I can see the green edge around the minifig.

That and, there isn't a setting on my camera to turn down the contrast. :L

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Nice work although maybe darken the contrast of the pic just a little.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Nah, I like contrast. mini/tongue Looks great Madbrick, though the building has about three different colours, and two of them are completely opposite.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

I agree, my rendition of the house isn't great.

Fortunately, it's not in a lot of shots so it shouldn't be too distracting.
