Just Kidden wrote:We really don't need another brickfilmers website. It's kind of redundant to have more than one, which there already is.
We have:
-Bricksinmotion
-Brickfilms
-The Brickfilmer's Guild
-Cannedgravy's Brickfilmer School
It's not exactly something that anyone needs at the moment, but it's cool that you want to do something like that. If I were you I'd try to build up a reputation on this site, and if this site ever starts getting crappy you can lead us into a new utopia or something stupid like that.

All brickflilming sites are quite different from each other, but they are all beneficial to the brickfilming community.
BIM is a site where people like to have their videos reviewed and discuss them and also enter contests.
The other sites you mentioned offer great things as well.
Brickfilmer's Guild (BFG) is a place where you can show off your own personal creativity. The site is all about the individual brickfilmer as an artist. The focus of BFG is the profile itself. It allows links to all of your sites, video embedding, photo galleries, feed readers, twitter feeds, polls, and many other options depending on what you choose to make public.
Brickfilmers should have their videos linked to as many places/sites as possible so it will allow for their name to come up in searches much easier and quicker. It gives far more exposure which is what most artists want.
Brickfilming is an art and BFG was made specifically to showcase that.
BFG is not competing with anyone, in fact it promotes all of the other brickfilming sites, especially BIM.
Our goal is to help brickfilmers get their art noticed even more. : )
