(Just as you know I had a little masking fail)
Good job eagle.
A very solid entry, and I personally didn't notice any masking flaws.
hey, up until now, will the judging be based on the smoothness? because its really all the same technique. ![]()
My entry is comming on well, I checked for a shovel before I started ![]()
I should have my entry up by about Wednesday or Thursday. ![]()

I don't agree, so far all entries use a different technique...
diferent digging technique? because they look like NXTmaniac's technique but what ever just my opinion.
No there is difference between themes. I wouldn't say it is all about smoothness.
For example the free running challenge was a great test of masking abilities, the making a dent in a wall one was a test of how well you could utilise bricks. Obviously, good animation - or smoothness - helps. but really it is a test on how well you portray the theme.
I see your point though.

Actually, the Free Running challenge was supposed to be a great test of phsyics, but it ended up being more or less being a test at how good you can mask.
Also:
Animation Challenge
So good/smooth animation does more than help. It's more or less the whole point, although a clever portrayal of the theme would certainly add points.

Exacly! I think that the Animation Challenge is about how much you can animate the theme that is going on. Like Robots At Work wasn't much good example because there's not much hard work on animating robots working unless you want it to be very cool!
I dont know if I'm sure, that really knows Fancypants what Animation Challenge is about but I think it's just about animating.
So every theme is every time hard - that's why it's called Animation CHALLENGE.
You all probably do know that but I'm just saying that Hamming It Up or Robots At Work weren't the best themes - but the entries were incredible ![]()
