It would be a pretty good setup.
That is a good setup for brickfilming. I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 10 and a C910 webcam, and I am quite happy. Not sure about the laptop, it is only a single core and rendering video requires quite a bit of power.

It has 2.
So can i put a dual core processor on to a laptop or does it have to come with one
because i cant seem to find any laptops with dual core.

Not sure where you got your info there. It's a dual core.
You would actually be much better off with this laptop:

It's cheaper, has a better processor, and has more ram. In return you only use an inch of screen size and 160gb of space which you probably wont need anyway.

(and yes it has dual core processor)
Oh, I was just going by the link in the original post. It didn't say if it was dual or not so I assumed it was single. The best thing would be to get a 4 core. But those can get a little more expensive.
I've changed my mind and decided to get a desktop because the bigger screen and better specs.
also can i do this?
So i make a movie on a Windows desktop then put it on a USB stick and then put it on a Mac to upload to youtube.
Thanks

*Bump*
Anyone...
Why would you need to put it on a mac to upload it to youtube?
Well the family computer is a Mac and i was going to get a Windows desktop but
the Mac has the internet on it.
but I've changed my mind again
and might get a Mac with bootcamp so i can use the LOGITECH C910.
and capture on the Windows side and edit on the Mac.
Why not just get a $650 Windows desktop with the same specs as a $1200 Mac and then get a Canon DSLR which would beat the tar out of the C910?
-Greenscreener
How much is a DSLR and what would you recommend?
and i've heard after 10.000 photos the DSLR shutter dies or something like that.
I might still get a Windows but it makes it easier to get a Mac because the family computer is one.
The Mac i was thinking about getting is this.
http://www.apple.com/imac/specs.html
the 21.5-inch iMac.
Also my budget is $1900

He's right, the shutter system has a limited warranty, and eventually can break making them unusable.
Computer?
Build your own, you could get a 2500K w/ 4GB RAM and a 6970 + 550D w/ cheapish macro lens for that price.
I just read that the T2i's shutter is rated for around 100,000 pictures. I wouldn't be that concerned about it. In a couple years you'll probably be buying a new camera anyway.
-Greenscreener
(BTW the 550D LegoDudez mentioned is the T2i just so that you're not confused)

Shoot, I pressed the quote button instead of the edit button. ![]()
A 3/4 bridge or video camera would be better, (shutter does not ware down).
