Do you really think the computer is okay? I mean it does have enough things you probably need but I think that you need more Mac - I really think it's better to take the frames on Windows desktop with LQWP9000 or whatever webcam you wanna buy and edit it, upload it and everything else on Mac...

Just my opinion :)

Sorry I'm a newbie, but don't you want manual focus for brick filming not auto focus?

I would get at least a Core 2 duo though.
In fact get an AMD processor as they are better value for money.
Also build it your self to reduce costs.
I'm not really a techy guy so i wouldn't know what to buy also where do you buy from?
and how much cheaper would it be.

Can you not just get this? I think this is the one that some people use isn't it? It's mac compatible and HD! I don't know about manual settings which is obviously a big deal. I'm sure someone on here uses it. Anyway, if it has manual settings, get it and get FramebyFrame for free. That's saving you a lot of money and still a decent set up. iMovie is pretty good anyway. :)
EDIT: Woops, didn't read that you've changed your mind. But I'm going to leave my post above just in case you decide otherwise. :)
