Topic: Review Panel Reform

Who here agrees? No, this ain't a 'Trollololol' day special thang, I really think the review panel is pretty much dead. Who should be the new reviewers, and what actions should be taken to reform it?

I think it doesn't really matter who reviews what when, though I would like seeing films reviewed soon after they come out and the review panel cleaned up a bit, there's really nothing any of us can do about it. It's very hard to change someone's opinion.

The review panel is not dead.  We just don't recommend many films these days.  If you go to the "All Films" section, then you will discover that films are put there quite often.

Guys seriously, we DEFINETLY need some new reviewers. I mean, they say that films aren't appearing in the Films section because there are so many, but the review like one a month, so that can't exactly help. I would like to be a reviewer (I may not be the best) but the reviewers also really need to get their act together.

It's still way behind and personally, I think the reason for not many films getting recommended is due to the reviewers being lazy and not taking the time to write a review. Not intended at you guys (BuilderBrothers).

I mean, a while ago, I waited AGES for one of my films to get reviewed. I knew it wouldn't get reccommended so I checked it out and no one even bothered to put ANY SCORES WHATSOEVER.

Actually, the reason is that 90% of the films we get aren't worthy of recommendation.  Smeagol has raised the bar for recommendation too, so that means that the chances of you film getting recommended are pretty slim unless it is highly enjoyable.

EDIT: Also, the reason that there are no scores is that the panel has started to just put the overall rating of a film if it is not recommended.  All other catagories are left blank.
