Re: A short Free-Run type 10 FPS Test

too slow, and the "dolly camera" should be constantly moving, not moving once every 5 frames. Try using a higher framerate, like 12 or 15 fps. The animation needs some improvement. That's all I can say for now.

Re: A short Free-Run type 10 FPS Test

Thanks... the only reason its so slow is that i was using IMovie... and 10 FPS is the maximum speed.  Why was the dolley bad?

Re: A short Free-Run type 10 FPS Test

A little too choppy and raising the frame rate to 15 would of solved that.  Also as MPfist0 said a dolly continues throughout the shot and it doesn't move to a side every half a second.

Re: A short Free-Run type 10 FPS Test

Well, the dolly you made was moving every 5 frames (or something like that), while it should be always moving along with the character. The "man should stay in the center of the image, and the backgrounf always moving.

Ok... Thanks mini/bigsmile and what would you advise the best solution for fixing my framerate... My monkeyjam is really slow for some reason...

Re: A short Free-Run type 10 FPS Test

if its only 10 fps on iMovie, i suggest downloading windows live movie maker. you can get up to 30 FPS.

Re: A short Free-Run type 10 FPS Test

Monkey jam is perfect for beginners, while windows movie maker is nothing special. Something to use only if you don't have another program to put clips together.

Re: A short Free-Run type 10 FPS Test

Well, if MonkeyJam isn't working all that well you could always get Helium Frog. And you'll need to follow through with the flip you made us expect.  I was disappointed by that. :C

I don't. Movie maker combines footage for a movie, it was never made for animation.

Re: A short Free-Run type 10 FPS Test

I used Movie Maker once. Each frame was preset at 1 FPS (or something like that) when you imported them, so I had to manually drag each frame down to 5 FPS. Uggh. Using a webcam with a frame capture program is so much easier. Just *click* and it takes a picture and automatically sets it to 12 FPS (or whatever framerate you want).

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

Re: A short Free-Run type 10 FPS Test

Lol @UniLego... I did the flip but i took it out because i didn't feel like masking mini/tongue
