Re: Lego is now making Digital Cameras (and other things)
A LEGO MP3 player would be awesome.

A LEGO MP3 player would be awesome.
I saw this yesterday. It looks awesome...
No, it's not:
If earphones are roughly one centremetre long, that makes the brick 4cm high, which is bigger than I normal brick, I think.
Still, it's very inconspicuous for use in school if you have one of those jackets that runs the wire up the inside from the pocket. If the teacher asks, you could pull out your pockets, and only a lego brick would be there. (of course, she/he wouldn't know it wasn't regulation sized!)
Thats pretty bangin'. I'm not so sure about the digital camera though....
That's pretty darn cool.
I wish it were regular sized! I could bring a few bricks to school and attack my MP3 player to them and make it look like LEGO.
Slight bump...
Lego is dabbling in the world of cellphones and camcorders.
My question is, are these products to be compatible with actual Lego bricks?
Looks like no, if you read the articles you pointed out, they both state that neither are compatible with the LEGO system. Shame, those could have been rather awesome if they were compatible.
I am a bit disappointed with these. If they are going to make digital things with LEGO, the main thing people would want to do is to connect them with other LEGO.
Thats really a bummer they arn't compatible with the LEGO system.
Come on Blue Digital, Its the year 2009. Two years from now we'll have flying cars, but you can make a Lego camera fit with lego bricks?
