Just found this on TBB:
LEGO and Blue Digital have linked up to produce a Lego line of kid’s electronics. It appears that the line will include a digital camera, MP3 player, walkie-talkies, and more.
They seem a little odd to me, but then I’m not the guru of all things awesome. That would be Tim.
Looks pretty awesome, but I wonder about the quality.

It's probably the Lego Studios cam in a new case, lol. The colours of the bricks look a bit off, as well.
They probably won't be great quality, since no one really wants to spend over $100 for their childs (toy) camera.
Although I do waonder if they'll make any second options with a higher quality, since they could become useful for brickfilm (you don't have to build a case 
). I'd be a lot more confident if they paired up with Logitech or another well known (for quality) company, since Digital Blue cameras aren't great.
Something tells me that the "bricks" arn't real size, because the camera is 13 studs long, which is about 7cm (3') long, which is tiny.
I doubt the quality will be anything up to the standards brickfilming needs.
Snd it will probably be all auto functions, no manual mode.
I heard about this. I'm better off just taking a camera apart and re-building it with LEGO.

I just laid out a line 13 studs long. It's a pretty normal size for a camera. In fact, it might even be slightly larger than average.
I just built a scale replica, assuming the bricks are the same size in the photo.

Ditto, I wouldn't count on any of LEGO's products (electronic basically) to be good unless of course it's, uh, LEGO.

I believe the original LEGO Studios camera was a partnership between LEGO and Logitech.
Hazzat, you're right. I was thinking every two studs is 5mm. It's every one stud is 5mm.
