Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film
@Stan, Awesome work, great framing and great quality. But it is the lighting that really stands out to me, great work!

Yeah, the eyes and mouth are too far apart and the hands are closed too much and should be curved on the bottom. I like the set, though!

Hmm, well so far, I've posted frames where the fig's face is off to the side. I'll post another one with a head on shot and see if I get the same reaction here because personally I don't see them as too far apart.
Tryxx: Probably because, aside from being CGI, the minifigs are flexible and this frame is when the minifig was in midstep so the arms are in an awkward position at that point.

Looking AWESOME, lech only THOSE HANDS ARE BUGGING ME! AAAAAAA! u should work on them in blender to make them look more like a real minifig's hands *cough*
but other than that, it looks awesome! keep it up! ![]()

You know, his character's hands are actually quite nice. As Lech said, the minifig is in the middle of walking, so the hands may be clenched or unclenched. And I don't think the link you provided is a real minifig, it's CGI (whoops, unnoticed typo) too you know. Just might want to remember that.
That's a fairly good frame Lech, but I'm not really a fan of the material/shader settings. Maybe tweak it a bit, like make the floor darker and stuff like that.

hahaha yup, it's not real. it's a cgi minifig that i made in blender. you can download it here. ![]()
The quality is amazing and there's very close to no glow on the chroma-key.
That's a fairly good shot Stan. However, there's still the tiniest bit of green left, not that it really matters, but I just like pointing those kinds of things out. I think the biggest downfall of the frame is that the background looks extremely out of place, and doesn't really seem to fit into the scene.

Here's an image from my upcoming film, Arnold and The Frog 1: That Thing. I'm almost done with the animation, and I should have it done by next weekend or so.
