Ironic that you talk about 'Caliber' when word is often used in conversations about guns, and batman had a gun, which he shouldn't have had. now about robin, if it is poorly writ'n he will seem like an Idiot. in the comics he was no thing like he is in the movies, ok, he is better in the comics then the movies and series but still not the best character, if doing a batman film, get some batman comics or visit http://batman.wikia.com/wiki/Special:WikiActivity and get a FEMALE side kick for batman, or, Reinvent Robin, the truma he had when he was a kid, there was a good robin in the 'Red Hood montage clip'(can't remember the exact title)
the likes of Catwoman, Black Canary.......
