It looked purdy real to me, except for the green screen reflections in the left side of the screen. Do you know if they have this software for Mac?
They do not, and it wasn't green screen. I had to trace it manually.
Well, if you want a more realistic output, you'll need more layers of rain to give it depth. The water should also go past the island, not stop right behind it. 
I'll second what UniLego said. It's a common error, but fixing it will make your rain much more convincing.
