Goodness, another holiday means another 6-second animation from me, now doesn't it?
Just some animation I did to try out Helium Frog. New lighting set-up, btw.
This was filmed at 20 fps (I decided to meet half-way between 15 and 24 fps from now on).

Very nice indeed. I like the look of 20 fps, less work then 24 but smoother then 15.
Yeah, but I think I'm going to stick with MonkeyJam. HeliumFrog screws with my quality a bit.
very nice. it was very smooth! i liked the kind of head jerk in the first one because it was more natural than just moving the head...like the body was well in sync with it. keep up the good work!

Yeah, that was my favorite part too. I actually surprised myself with it. Thanks for the encouragement!
The animation itself was very jerky/choppy and didn't pull the cartoony effect off (I assume that was what you were going for after the PM you sent me). Even as realistic animation it didn't work very well because of the jerkiness, it just looks like bad animation in my opinion. What you might want to do is practice your animation a bit more. It might just be Helium Frog messing with you, but it looks like your animation was worse than the last we saw from you.
Keep working on it.

FYI, I wasn't going for cartoon-y style.
Yeah, I think it was just Helium Frog messing around with me. I've decided to stick with MJ, even though I'm going to miss the onion-skin of pure awesomeness.
