I have been taking a break from brickfilming, and decided to try to build some stuff with my bricks. Fun!

I was walking in an unexplored part of my neighborhood yesterday, and I took some pictures.

I think it's a shame you trolls of BiM can't accept "The Good Things" thread for what it is, and feel the need to hide the love that is so obviously bursting from within each individual member. I fear that if you do not re-open such a place then this un-fed love could erupt and Bricksinmotion could be overthrown by a band of peace loving rebels, called Hippie LEGO Fans. So embrace one and other, kiss-up to macho Admins if that is what you wish, but don't hide behind a veil set to you by the other seers - enjoy life and give back, be merciful and kind, and this will ultimately give you true happiness. So stand up I say, for what is right and just. Grab the bull by the horns, and set it on those heartless Moderators, the ones who hide in the underworld, in smoke filled rooms dictating how we should be... for their terror can be stopped, all that is stopping us is fear. Now let us unite.

We don't need a book. We're already professionals. As a matter of fact, We should make the book 'Bricks In Motion: The Book' But yea, a book would be interesting... but if anyone here needed help, they could just ask anyone on the site or... Wiki. Were you planning on writing a book?
Yes I am planning on writing it- but I'd need a co-author.
It'd be more on brickfilming itself though (how to do it and such)

Not to sound rude or offensive, but I don't think it's a good idea for someone that hasn't actually made a brickfilm we can see should be writing a book on brickfilms, especially when you'd be teaching how to do it.
OK fellas. I'm a terrible bassist. I mean an awful bassist. A terrible, awful bassist.
But I'd like to get better. Ultimately I'd like to be a decent bassist. As such, I've been trying to find people to play with. Sadly, living in a small town, the amount of people that I can meet with is limited, and almost none of these people play instruments. So I found this service called Ninjam. It's a free program that helps you set up jam sessions online. I don't know how it works/gets around latency problems and whatnot, but I do know that I've dropped into some of the rooms and there is some great music being created there, so it must function fairly well.
What I'm getting at is that anyone here who wants to jam sometime should get on and do so. You can use any instrument so long as the audio is of decent quality. We'll have to find a room where we aren't bombing someone else's session (setting up a server looks daunting to me, so we may have to just find an empty one... although someone versed in tech stuff might be able to figure out the server situation), but aside from that it shouldn't be too difficult. Any level would be welcome; like I said, I'm in this for learning, so if you want to learn to play your instrument with other people and are willing to take advice, feel free to join.
I figure there should be at least some level of interest in this, seeing as I've discussed similar setups with Bert and Spudster before and they agreed that it would be neat to collaborate with other brickfilmers on musical ventures.
