Topic: Extended signature limit

The signature limit when doing long BBCode strands, isn't really enough. 636 Characters is the maximum for 4 lines dead on, so if you raised the limit to 500, or 600 characters it would be much appreciated.

There's no way you need that many links in your signature.  It's a signature, not a docking bay for links to every networking site you've registered for.  Sorry, but what it boils down to is that we don't want signatures longer than 400 characters.

Not to mention that links to several of the sites you want in your signature are built into your profile. Be selective.

That is just absurd.

But I would like a signature extension, I think the problem we worry about is the height of the signature taking up a page, but extending it to 600 x 100 probably wouldn't do any damage to the site.

If you want those dimensions, just do 400x67. Smaller sigs are often more stylish.

I agree. I think the most links a sig should have is 4: YouTube, Vimeo, Twitter, and email. I you really want thought, a 5th should be Facebook.
