Topic: Short Zombie Test

'Ello everyone, first time poster on these forums. mini/bigsmile

As a bit of background, a few months back I did some animation tests for a zombie film I was planning on doing; it's a remake of an older one I did with Lego Studios back in 2004 and which has subsequently been lost. Most of the tests were about finding the "right" look for how the zombies would move. Here's one of them:

The remaining footage from the original movie, to show the kind of look I was trying to go for:

Re: Short Zombie Test

Till 0:03 the walk doesn't look zombie-like at all, but after that it's fine. A slightly faster movement might be better though.

Re: Short Zombie Test

Well, it is a ZOMBIE so I think the speed is fine, but just my opinion. I liked it.

Nice, I love how each step he takes looks like he is stomping the ground.

Re: Short Zombie Test

The walk cycle itself is good, but I suggest taping down both your camera and set, because the shaking was a little distracting.

Re: Short Zombie Test

I love how he's "dragging" a foot, and only technically walking with one. Perhaps if you slowed him down a bit, or have it "drag" more.

Pretty good but coming to far down
