This was an idea for the freerunning competition on the Animation Challenge thread. I don't think I will submit this, since the backflip looks pretty bad. The one thing that I was happy with was that there was barely any light flicker. I have had lots of problems with light flicker, especially when masking, so I am glad it turned out better this time.
Well, not really free running. but that was very funny to watch, I didn't like the very end, but the animation was fair, and the way you presented it made a nearly dull concept funny. Good Work!

Funny but I think you should make it longer if you plan on entering it into the challenge
Not bad, the animation needs to be smoother but the masking was good and it was quite funny.
This video wasn't going to be a "serious" entry into the contest, I just thought of this idea when I saw the challenge, so I decided to try to do it. I haven't animated in the past 5 months, and I wanted to get back into it again.

...I didn't like the very end...
What didn't you like about the end? Was the animation bad, or did you just think it wasn't funny?
The crash just seemed too long, and not very necessary. A small figure must have hit the floor or whatever at a fairly hard impact to shake a camera like that.
Okay, I get it. I was trying to get a more cartoony look to it, but I guess I could have left out the shaking of the camera.
I have to say that I disagree. I thought it was fine. It was exaggerated but then it's meant to be.
