Topic: Need tips on becoming smooth
I did this last night (yeah I know it's short) and I'm getting frustrated because it just doesn't seem smooth. Any tips for a new animator to help with the smoothness and timing.

yep, 15fps. I think what I'm having the most trouble with is the timing of actions. Example...waving at the camera, I just don't have a good grasp as to how long that should take to feel natural. It feels like he is rushing through everything.
I think a lot of it is just going to come down to experience, but wondered if there were any hints / tricks people use.
@Matthew
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. That should help a lot!
Your welcome, I should be releasing a test soon so check it out.
Moisturiser.
Thanks, that really helped me.

Hummmm, are you talking on the joints for ease of movement? That would be a huge help...My Lego bricks are so old and some of the arms and heads are kind of hard to move.
Thanks so much for the tip!!
That's exactly what I was talking about, yes.
I liked it didnt see anything wrong with it, could have been alittle slower at parts such as with the lightsaber but nothing wrong with the walking. ![]()
