Topic: "Unaccuracy" Sneak Peak and Rain Test

I am posting this in the WIP and Trailers sections because not only is it a test, but a sneak peak of my first current brickfilm "Inaccuracy". I am new to this great community so i do need feedback. Enjoy!

YouTube compression not amazing, hope the quality clears up. Anyway way better than the last one as far as im concerned. On my PC the rain seems almost invisible, not sure about YouTube though. If the quality comes through good for you, i am more than open to criticism and comments!

Also, much darker than before, hope this makes it look better!

Re: "Unaccuracy" Sneak Peak and Rain Test

You know "unaccuracy" isn't a word, right?

The rain part wasn't bad at all (the rippling puddles were especially impressive), but you need to do a lot of color grading... daylight lighting + overly blue puddles + overly visible white raindrops = not very convincing shot. Turn down the rain's opacity, darken the shot, and make the puddles dark grey, and this could be a solid shot. There shouldn't be any shadows, either, but you wouldn't be able to do that without re-shooting.

Unaccuracy isn't a word.

Also, a tip, the lighting should be darker/grayer.

Re: "Unaccuracy" Sneak Peak and Rain Test

I have a feeling that's the point.

The spelling "Unaccuracy" is inaccurate, creating a sense of irony in the title.

Or he doesn't own a dictionary.

That's always a possibility.

Re: "Unaccuracy" Sneak Peak and Rain Test

"Unrenewable" isn't a real word, yet Smeagol used it for his film, why can't he?

Overall, it wasn't terrible, it was actually decent. But to back up what the others have already said, you need color grading and keep the rain's opacity down some. Nice 3D ripple effect, though.

Adj. 1. unrenewable - that can not be renewed; "books on that shelf are unrenewable"; "gas and oil are nonrenewable resources

Anyway, nice test, the rain looked good, but unfortunately the animation went a bit funky when he was opening the door.

Also, the puddles look slightly out of place...

^Not cool
I guess I won't be using spell checker from now on.

i think it's pretty good, though it really depends on what look you're going for.

Thanks for the feedback, this was a test scene thing and i am now thinking of changing it to the origional, without rain. Oh and Brickyman i know, this was the first scene i filmed when i first got my new webcam, so the animation isnt perfect. Thank you for the feedback anyway guys.
