Re: 2010 Bricks in Motion Awards: Vote for Potential Nominees! [CLOSED]

Let's not forget "An Abnormally Large Series" (Harold, Herbert, Little Red Riding Hugo and the like) for best series.

That came out in 2009. I almost nominated it too, since I really like that short.

Silent by Max Butcher (find out why)

I dont think having a movie without sound counts for Best Sound Design. Its a little unfair on those who put any effort into their editing.

And its actually SILENCE in case the judges consider it - although the only merit I think it has is its cinematography, which is intentionally used to create the feeling of vertigo in some shots.

It was more of a bad joke...I just left it there cause I forgot I put it there.

Re: 2010 Bricks in Motion Awards: Vote for Potential Nominees! [CLOSED]

Seeing as it was such a good film, and hasn't been nominated yet, then I'm voting for Daniel's "The Dandelion", and Brick7 for her astoundingly good vocal performance in Brick or Treat. Also, I suggest including a category for best Contest, considering the amount we've had this year.

Oh, and 'The First Lego Movie' was made in 2009, not in 2010.

No the first lego movie was not made in 2009 since I clearly made a lego video in 2008 mini/smile

Carl's Jr.? Didn't his channel get deleted?

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

I would nominee Ben and Eric Theme Song that you hear in the beginning of the episodes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6run8mV8kg
Made by Martin Sundqvist (not a brickfilmer)

Sadly, that film was submitted on January 1st 2011, so it does not qualify for any awards.  However, thank you very much for the nomination, and please nominate us again next year. mini/smile
