Re: What was the last movie you watched?
Adventureland
This is probably the film I ejoyed the most. Ever.
Jesse Eisenberg has gone from being nobody to being one of my favorite actors. I first saw him in Zombieland, but I didn't really care much about him (I saw it 1AM), but when I saw The Social Network a couple of days ago I noticed how awesome he is, and he's great in Adventureland as well. Kristen Stewart was great in this film too, and she really doesn't deserve the ammount of hate she gets because of Twilligt, she's a good actress. There were a lot of great biroles, but I won't bother writing about them too, except for the girl that played Lisa P. She was pretty hawt.
The soundtrack was really great, and I've been listening to the opening song "!@#$%^& of Young" too much the past days.
I think Greg Mottola did a great job with this film, and I am happy they didn't do it the way it was originally planned.
Seth Rogen was supposed to be a co-director, and Michael Cera was going to play the main character, but something happened and
Seth Rogen left and they switched Michael Cera for Eisenberg, which I think was a good thing.
"Adventureland" could have easily become another mediocre teen comedy about sex, but they made it something special. It's a comedy, sure, but I love it just as much as a drama film as a comedy. This movie was great, and you have to see it. It's a pitty it didn't get as popular as perhaps Superbad, which was also directed by Mottola, but it's too late to do anything about that now.
If you haven't seen this film, watch it. It's great.
