Gosh darn it! I would love to enter but I can't see having any extra time in the near-future due to my Tales of Yore entry, which will be priority. However if there's any time I have spare I'll definitely go for this!

I was annoyed when I first saw this contest, but after reading it through I think I'm okay with it. The fact that you basically renamed and restarted Avant-Garde aside, the prize list tends to make me think that this will merely split a small chunk of the mid- to beginning-level animators out of the TOY entrants. And if it spawns some good films... well, everyone wins.

I have to say, though, I'm a little skeptical about the prizes. That sounds like a lot of money to be coming out of your pocket.

I like the fact that it's like Avant-Garde. It had a good theme, and those of us who weren't here in time to make an entry make now make one for this. I'm not sure about the prizes... if I win, I already have an HD Camcorder, what would I do with a webcam...? Maybe I can tell Uni to give it to the 4th place person instead of me...
