Great film, awful sport.

How to Train Your Dragon
I liked it a lot. The setting is messed up though, and vikings didn't really have horns on their helmets.
The effects are well done, the water splashes are nice.
Death Note and Death Note: The Last Name
I think this would have benefited from being a trilogy. The way the story was cut down for a movie was clever (mixing up the confinement and the 13-day rule), but it seems a shame to have cut out Near and Mellow. Alone, however, these are a good couple of movies. Very entertaining.
Elf
Will Farrel has the remarkable ability to be an adult actor but seem like a child. Hilarious.

It's called being immature and/or delightful. jk. ![]()

Notice how the adults have Norwegian accents and the kids sound like bratty American teenagers? More story flaws oh em jee.

The Bourne Identity- ★★★★★
Now that was epic. I'm really in the mood to make a car chase animation now! ![]()

I NO RITE?
Bed-knobs and Broomsticks
Ignoring the frequent talking about 'knobs', this is a great family film. Whilst some of the effects haven't particularly aged well (the Bed flying sequence looks more like a drug-trip than a 'Peter Pan' style flight), stuff like the invisible army are jaw-dropping.
There are some other flaws like HOW ARE THEY ABLE TO BREATHE UNDERWATER!?!?! LET ALONE SING!?!?! And, why doesn't she use another spell to stop the Nazis rather than the one with the Rabbit that she's no good at? And why didn't the kid mention that the object they spent 20 MINUTES TRYING TO FIND is in fact already in the book?? And I swear there was a running gag with 'Sulphur' that I didn't get - and I'm sure the kids wont get it either. Oh, and its typical Hollywood trying to imagine what England looks like - have you ever seen England apart from the postcards? And the kids take it rather well that their carer IS A FREAKING WITCH!!! I would be TERRIFIED if I was evacuated to a Witch who's reciting Macbeth's potion in the back room!
And the 'Portobello Road' sequence goes on for WAAAAYYY too long. So long that my parents fell asleep! No, seriously, they did!
So yeah, I recommend checking it out. Its not outstanding, but it has a great charm to it.
28 Days Later
Very good. Effectively combines a nicely-developed atmosphere with some genuine thrills, and the film's realistic tone makes it all the more unsettling. One of the better-constructed horror movies I've seen in a long time.
Toy Story 3
I dont have to even put much, except for its the best animated film, Pixar film, and one of the best films ever. Next year, Pixar is releasing Cars 2. I already know its not gonna be too good because Pixar spent its time mainly on TS3. They did an amazing job.
Star wars episode 1:the phantom menace
Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland
The Year Without a Santa Claus
That was epic. I absolutely loved it, as I do every year.
Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town
Loved this, too.
Rudolph The Red Nosed Raindeer
I loved this as well.
I was sick today, so I stayed home and watched Christmas specials and The Animaniacs. Woooooooo
