Here is a test sequence from an upcoming top-secret film. Yes, it WILL be in HD. It's just a first try, and any critique is welcome.

Nice use of the lighting for the headlights.

What Tryxx said. In particular, it's too yellow... the picture should be bluish and the headlight beam more white. The beam enters awfully abruptly... in addition to changing the shape, I'd feather the front edge a lot more and make it longer. And the giant shadow of the house against your background is definitely something you'll want to eliminate if you can. Two final things that you could try are creating two ovals along the ground to replicate the intersection of the headlight beams with the ground, and a brighter flare just around the headlights themselves.
Don't take the long list of criticisms the wrong way... it's not a bad shot at all, it's just that there are a number of things you can do to improve it.
