I think a snake animation would be a great theme. I would enter for sure. People would actually be challenged to get creative. Lets remember it's an animation challenge.

Thank you. People seem to be forgetting that it is an animation challenge, not everything has to be a minifig or a prop. I don't have any snakes, but I want to have a go with bricks.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Sorry Jacksonsullivan, but the new theme is:
Throwing a ball against a wall

I choose the most popular theme...
The deadline will be the November 24th.

To be clear, you can use clay or a lego ball. All kinds of balls are allowed.
The most important thing is that the ball must be thrown against a wall.

Good luck Everyone!

Animation wise, UniLego's is slightly better than yours...

This is an animation challenge isn't? If it is, story should make no difference. mini/confused

I don't know if you are jealous by that, and I understand that you can be disappointed...
My entry, has no really a story!!! It's maybe for the animation AND the presentation that I won (Lighting, set, music).
You have already won a challenge, and it's my first win.
If you remember, Hazzat won ''Jumping Out of a Window'' when Mobideli had a better animation... Thanks!

This entry really deserved first.  Great set, nice effects and showing the insides of the tree as it was cut down was a nice touch.

I'm gonna sit this one out. I don't like it much.......

Re: The Animation Challenge

Eh, whatever. I just didn't like what the entries were supposedly judged on. Animation should make up 100% of why you won, not the story involved. I might enter this one as well, although I don't see how to make a minifigure-sized ball bounce with deformation at impact.

I'm not trying to take a side here, but the reason mobiledeli's entry didn't win was because it didn't meet the specific animation requirements that had been posted.

I'm also a noob judge. mini/sad

Re: The Animation Challenge

You guys, want to change the results? And change the theme?
Are you jealous or something like that? The most important thing in this challenge is to be creative!
If you disagree with me... I don't know what to do.

Re: The Animation Challenge

No, it's fine that you won. Don't let my complaining keep you from being proud of yourself, because it was definitely a good entry. And MadLibs, don't worry about it.

Re: The Animation Challenge

So do you want it to bounce against the wall or to crash through the wall?

Used to be 'Caidence'

Dude, you need to calm down, and explain the rules. Does it matter how the ball reacts to the wall or not. Meaning, does it have to crash through or does it not matter? mini/smile

Hopefully I'll enter this one! I hope that you don't make it any more specific; the more variation, the more exciting!
