Re: The Animation Challenge
The animation was really good!

I think whether the ball has to be Lego or not should be clarified, just to avoid confusion when judging comes around.

I agree, I just wanted to test out using different models for different positions of the ball and this challenge came up. There is a limited amount of what you can do with just a lego stud ball though. maybe just make it flip over once or twice but thats pretty much it.
-Tejas VIM (Ima try out one with a stud ball tomorrow.)
There's the LEGO soccer ball, and basket ball, and I think that non-LEGO balls should be allowed also, but creativity points should be awarded to those who stay "pure to the plastic".
This is amazing! I was thinking for the tree challenge that I could through balls at the tree. But now it is just a wall! What a a coincidence! I might join this!
Does it have to be the shape of a ball? Cos I was thinking just a small LEGO brick... Is that allowed?
I dont know. Maybe, but I was wanting to use clay just cuz its easier to work with then something hard like lego.
See what you mean. I would of thought clay was much harder to mask
I'm sorry to respond late, but I was busy.
To be clear, you can use clay or a lego ball. All kinds of balls are allowed.
The most important thing is that the ball must be thrown against a wall. It's okay?
Good entry VIMStudios.
I was kinda pulling for the snake challenge... I'll try and come up with something for this challenge.
Ok. I'll use a 1x2 brick then

Me and you both bro.
I may enter. if i can get the clay ball to harden in time
This is harder than I thought! Did people put the ball on some bricks then rub it out? or?
I think ill enter this! It will really test my skills of motion!
So far you guys have had awesome entrys!!
^^^^^^^^^^The Bricks out, I meant
Matty, that was a good entry, but you have to remember when throwing an object it doesn't stay in the same angle.

Yes it’s a process called masking, if you look it up you will find lots of tutorials. Normally brickfilmers do mask with bricks, because you can create lots of different masking structures. If you look at NXTManiac's entry it will help you out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeNAxHbkL0o
