Topic: 4 step walk cycle (15 fps)+ sound test

here are 2 new things I am trying all in one: a different walk cycle- one that looks much smoother, and also I have added sound effects which I have done very very little in my animations.

Re: 4 step walk cycle (15 fps)+ sound test

very nice, is it a 4,5,6,7 frame walk cycle?

Re: 4 step walk cycle (15 fps)+ sound test

IT's a 4 step, like it says in the title. Really smooth, brenden. Liked the throwing part as well.

Very nice!! the animation was very good. I would change the footstep sound effect it a little to loud and harsh a sound.

Re: 4 step walk cycle (15 fps)+ sound test

ohh. DUH! 4 step- but it looks way too smooth to be a 4 step

Re: 4 step walk cycle (15 fps)+ sound test

yeah I want to find a different footstep sound. Of all of the ones I found when I made the test, this one was my favorite one. (I was mainly working on getting it in sync with the video) If anyone has a better footstep sound and would like to share, I would be happy to use it.
Emayesoen- this it the tutorial I followed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojxKhLtmimY

Re: 4 step walk cycle (15 fps)+ sound test

this is what i do for footsteps (if someone is walking inside) i record a 1 second clip of just me tapping my baseplate once- add some effects- then voila! just repeat and repeat... or don't do it like me sometimes cuz i get lazy....

Re: 4 step walk cycle (15 fps)+ sound test

I might try that
