The animation itself was good, but the liquid looked very strange.

It was a comment on the gray metallic shine it has coming out of the pipe.  I comment it in the fashion of a plumber.  If I have to explain a joke...

Can't say much from a 4 second clip, and seeing as your computer overheated, we'll have to wait a little longer to find out but I'm sure there are settings that Blender has hidden somewhere that you can change.  It's finding them that's the difficult part.

Yes im going to experiment with the materials as well as some subsurf stuff

ANd yes i got the joke but just decided to try and take it seriously to get some info and critique

I am amazed at two things, the animation itself, and the patients you must have had to wait for that render...wow. Just wow.
