Re: Larrygitis - Septemberfest Entry

I liked the animation for the most part, except a few isolated spots where it was a bit choppy. I also enjoyed people getting pelted with, I'm not sure if it was puke or mucus, but it may have been the highlight of the film. Alright, now for my un-official ratings.

Story: 7.5
Animation: 7
Cinematography: 6
Effects: 8
Sound: 8
Music: 8
Overall: 7.4

Better than your best work!  Loved the upside down horse outside the clinic.

So, you mean his best work? mini/eh

Re: Larrygitis - Septemberfest Entry

I was expecting something different. Good work anyway, and too bad I missed the "cough call" thread: I have an awesome cough right now (well, it would have been awesome for this movie). The animation was my favourite part.

Re: Larrygitis - Septemberfest Entry

I'm not sure, but I think I heard my cough in there. mini/bigsmile Great film anyway, but I don't understand why

Re: Larrygitis - Septemberfest Entry

I really liked it. The way the story was communicated without any dialogue (although I'm probably going to be saying that about everyone's entry mini/tongue ) apart from coughing and hilarious slapstick sound effects was really nice. Thoroughly entertaining, and a worthy entry.

Wonderful.

Re: Larrygitis - Septemberfest Entry

Awesome work guys. Loved it.

Re: Larrygitis - Septemberfest Entry

Ha ha!  Loved it!  The cartoony/slapstick style was excellently done.  Favorite scene was when

the green thing was being coughed from person to person.

Great entry mini/bigsmile

Keep it coming.

Re: Larrygitis - Septemberfest Entry

I'm afraid I couldn't watch it...

For some reason, if I hear coughing, I cough, and seeing as there was a lot of coughing...

Re: Larrygitis - Septemberfest Entry

Well, this film was certainly not bad, but also not great. The slapstick style was humorous for a bit, but at some point it just feels like it's being random and cartoonish for the sake of being random and cartoonish (a style that's becoming all-too common in brickfilms lately).

The story started out interesting, but never really goes anywhere and sort of ends abruptly. Also, much of the camerawork was awkwardly framed too low, to the point where characters' heads are often cut off slightly (usually in favor of an empty baseplate).

Yeah, I editied it all, and I'm DREADFULLY sorry for everything like the heads cut off. I had a pan where he was coughing and pulling out the phone, but I forgot about it totally in post-production. It really burns my brain when I think of all the mistakes. Sorry one and all. mini/smile

Re: Larrygitis - Septemberfest Entry

Wow, I'm impressed how much both of your animation as improved since I last saw.
The story wasn't very solid though, there was one major plot hole: why was there a can full of this "larrygitis" in a dark alley of a random guy's house. But then again, randomness is JK's style...
Anyways, great work!!

It's hard to tell a story without any dialog. mini/tongue
That was his closet. mini/tongue

If this were a normal film with dialog, we could have had "Hey look! There's something in my really dark closet!"
