Re: Post your LEGO decals here! *LARGE FILE WARNING*
Flame wars are a tad pathetic, but perhaps I should stash my imput into this argument and then make it all happy by following the thread purpose and making a decal in a few days. (By the way, these comments are probably being sarcastic if they are agreeing with Lego !@#$ being okay)
My response to MPFist0:
What the heck? What's the problem? You guys don't even know how's he going to use it.
Actually, if were talking about a nude decal and Kinzcove, we know a great deal already about what this will be used for.
We've seen brickfilms with the so called adult language, violence, brickfilms that clearly are not directed to little boys,
The thing is, those brickfilms either overuse one topic and are tossed into the generic brickfilm graveyard, or they use it well and it doesn't seem to matter. And I visualize these things on a scale, and nudity goes way up into the inappropriate section of the bad element graph.
Violence is ok and sex no?
Yes.
. Anybody can use lego how he wants,
And I'm sure he'll get very far in his career when he tries to get a job and his employer finds his Youtube full of under-dressed Lego minifigure videos.
Btw, naked womans doesn't always mean sex or sexual reference.
You must not know Kinzcove.
My response to Kinzcove:
I needed the decal for a woman taking a shower and for a 'LEGO Painting'.
And I'm sure a detailed decal of a woman lacking clothing was absolutely essential for this painting. And I completely understand why this couldn't be a "shoulders and up" shot.
My response to TBDude:
Oh, that makes more sense.
It does?
My response to Brick7:
It is a sad statement that our world has stooped so low that we are USED to being voyeurs.
I agree with you completely Brick7, in the 1950's, if you showed a sane man or woman a segment of something like Undercovers, they would be going nuts. The fact that not only have people become prone to nudity, but that they actually want to see it, thats just humiliating.
I prefer to think of the body as a more sacred and private thing.
Yes, thats why we have this really cool thing called clothing.
Why should it matter that it's an actor/actress on the screen?
It shouldn't, I'd find it offensive to turn on the television and see a bare man appear on the screen. Actor or not, it isn't right.
EVERYbody knows that a yellow minifigure is a naked minifigure, so the only reason to add body parts is to create sensationalism.
Very good point, thats why I think the surfer's torso is a bit unnecessary.
My point is, to Kinzcove and others who agree with him, that I would like him to have a little respect for his mother, myself and the other females on this site, and all other sensible members here who find this kind of thing completely unnessary and offensive.
Well spoken Brick7. Kinzcove, I wonder what your dear grandmother would think if she came to your house and managed to see this upcoming video with a naked woman. I am sure she would be destroyed inside to see what has become of her grandson. I find it totally inappropriate, its Lego, its a plastic children's toy. and Detailed anatomy on a Lego minifigure? Come On!
My response Just Kidden:
Really? Then why did you need a voice actor for Larry if you're a boy?
