Eh. It was alright I guess. The Buscemi and Tarantino appearances were fun, though.

Bedhead (Short film by Robert Rodriguez)
It came on the DVD. For some reason I thought that he had made it when he was like 12 or something (I just thought I'd heard that somewhere) and so I was really impressed. Turns out he was 22 when he made it. Either way, it's really good. Pretty much everything about it is awesome.

Getting involved in this kind of stuff is usually pointless, but I should point out that that may be accidentally accurate. The conflict that serves as the backdrop for Robin Hood stories is that of older Saxon families against the descendants of Norman invaders. The modern English accent actually comes from the fact that Charles II gained a French accent during his exile, and that the English nobility subsequently copied him. The original English accent sounded a lot more like how Americans or Irish speak today.

Beautiful, disturbing, magical, uncompromising. One of the most exquisitely crafted fantasy films I've ever seen. Not for the faint-hearted, but truly an amazing movie.
