Percy Jackson (The Lightning Thief)
It was fun, an average Hollywood film, but nevertheless fun. I quite enjoyed it.
2/5
That movie was a lot different than the book.
Memento
Pretty great
Gangs of New York
3rd time watching it. Still a fantastic movie. Daneil Day Lewis is an amazing actor.

Did you watch the featurette about the decomposing fries? It's pretty horrific.

The Town
Some parts of the film were a bit uneven; the romance sideplot and the bank robberies didn't quite go together smoothly, but otherwise, it's well-acted (particularly from Jeremy Renner and Blake Lively), sharply directed and written, and features some very tense heist scenes. While not as good as Gone Baby Gone, it's a worthy entry in Ben Affleck's recent renaissance.
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
My favourite movie of all time. Shake your head all you want Night Owl.
Sure, it has what I hate the most - American actors as good guys and British actors as bad guys, despite the movie being set in ENGLAND - but if it wasn't for its really minor flaws and cheesiness, it wouldn't be as interesting to watch. And with a cast including the likes of Alan Rickman, Brian Blessed, Sean Connery, Morgan Freeman and....um.....Christian Slater, how can you not expect awesome cheesiness? Throw in Shatner and you will have the cheesiest cast ever.
Oh, and the music is EPIC. Every time I listen to it I want to run out of my house yelling: FOR ROBIN HOOD! FOR THE MOST EPIC MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!! FOR THE WEIRD STARES MY NEIGHBOURS ARE GIVING ME!!!!
And it is Epic. It turns a few peoples struggle against the most over-the-top villain of all time into an epic battle to decide the fate of the earth. The fact it over-blows such a minor struggle for food and shelter makes this movie even more glorious.
In a way, the movie takes itself so seriously that it doesn't seem like it really is taking itself seriously......if that makes any sense. And by the gods, I love it. Robin Hood Prince of Thieves: My Favourite movie of all time.

Oh yes. Thank you for reminding me of the OTHER reason why I don't eat at McDonalds anymore.
The Ghost Writer
Good.
Sisters
Awesome, I loved it. Siamese Twins. ![]()
How to Train Your Dragon
Improved a bit on the second viewing. Plus, I got the chance to chat with one of the co-directors afterwards, which was muy excelente.
Gone Baby Gone
Decided to watch this again after seeing The Town recently, and this is definitely Ben's superior film. A superbly effective and morally ambiguous crime thriller topped with some impressive acting, directing, and writing. By the end of it, I still couldn't tell you who was right or wrong, and that, to me, shows that the film did exactly what it needed to do.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Pretty good, except I hate those video montages of Harry's brain being hacked by Voldemort. Some of the cuts look like an excerpt from a Hannah Montana Music video with Voldemort posing instead of her.
Fred: The Movie
This movie doesn't deserve a review.
